De La Salle University joins the list of top-ranked institutions in the Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings 2019. The only private Philippine university that made it in the rankings, DLSU is in the 251–300 bracket this year.
The emerging economies rankings cover institutions in countries classified as developing and progressive. Only 442 universities from 43 countries met the criteria to be included in the rankings.
The rankings apply the same research-intensive indicators as the THE World University Rankings to evaluate institutions on their teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook, but are recalibrated to reflect the development priorities of universities in emerging economies.
