DLSU has a strong academic network worldwide.

[Part 1 of a series]

De La Salle University is part of a network of La Salle schools in over 79 countries. The University also has a wealth of linkages and partnerships with other international academic institutions, making it ideal for undergraduate and graduate students who may want to explore exchange and dual programs.

With the introduction of RevEd, undergraduate students will be given the opportunity to grow even more and prepare themselves for the real world, thanks to the Global Enrichment Term. During this time, students will have the option to take longer internships, do volunteer work and community engagement projects, work on start-ups, or study overseas. In addition, those who are pursuing graduate studies can also find opportunities to study abroad!

Here are some of the top international study destinations for Lasallians.

Australia

Many DLSU students choose to go to the Land Down Under. Australia is currently the third most popular study destination for students in English-speaking countries because of its high educational standards, friendly locals, and cultural diversity.

Lasallians may choose from the University’s 7 academic partners in the Land Down Under, including the Australian National University, where they can pursue graduate studies in economics. For those who wish to pursue law in DLSU, they will have the option to go to Charles Darwin University as “externs.” Graduate students who wish to take diploma courses in Industrial Relations Management will also be pleased to know they can go to the University of Newcastle, another DLSU academic partner in Australia.

France

The birthplace of St. John Baptist de La Salle is another popular international study destination for Lasallians. The University currently has 4 partner institutions in France namely Ecole d’Ingenieurs Louis de Broglie, L’Institut Polytechnique La Salle Beauvais, Universite Catholique de Lille, and University Bordeaux 1. Many choose to study in France because of its robust arts and culture scene and high educational standards.

Japan

Lasallians can opt to study in Japan. DLSU currently has 27 partner institutions in the Land of the Rising Sun. Known for its beauty, high quality of life, rich heritage, and exemplary quality of education, it’s no wonder many international students choose this country.

Undergraduates taking up engineering in DLSU can study in Tokyo Institute of Technology. Those who want to pursue legal education in DLSU will have the option to go to Meiji University.

Taiwan

Students who don’t want to be too far from their families can study in Taiwan, where DLSU has 7 partner institutions. This modern and dynamic place is great for Lasallians. One such university DLSU students can go to in Taiwan is National Cheng Kung University, where students can get their master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

United Kingdom

The UK’s educational system is a big draw for those who wish to pursue studies abroad. The UK is recognized globally for quality assured education. DLSU has partnered with Liverpool Hope University UK in offering dual master’s programs on the following areas: Advanced Computer Science, Data Science, Robotics Engineering, Sport and Exercise Nutrition, Ecology and Environmental Management, and international MBA.
